Re: Sport

It feels good when you find a sport that you really enjoy. I really enjoy Martial art training. It is a sport which has great emphasis on discipline. May be the only thing it lacks is team work but well, I really enjoy it. haha......

I feel happy whenever I play the sport I like.

Re: Car

Having a car is a luxury as a student. I am glad that I have one that allows me to go where ever I want to go. It's a pity that it cannot fly otherwise I can fly to Hong Kong to see you every weekend.

Whenever I get to drive my car, I feel happy!

Re: Discipline

Discipline is one of the keys to success such as waking up at certain time in the morning and going through certain routines everyday etc. It is not easy but it is the key to success. I bet you heard of a composer Carl Czerny when you were learning piano. He is an Austrian pianist who wrote series of piano exercises called "The school of velocity". Students suppose to practise it for at least one hour per day in order to perfect their techniques. I have never done it so may be that's why I am not a pianist. Haha......

My point is after thousands of repetitions, people will finally master those techniques. At that point, people will feel genuinely happy.

Re: Pregnancy

This week I have been studying women's health. There is a misconception among pregnant women whom always think that they are eating for two. According to studies, the energy expenditures among pregnant women only increase slightly. They only need to eat 2 extra slices of bread per day to compensate for the extra energy expenditure.

I feel happy when I can tell you random facts. haha.......

Re: Goal

Do you remember that after I asked you to read the article on Shortness of life? You said the author was probably wasting his time writing the article. What is the definition of wasting time?

I have been thinking about what you said for a few days. You are right. What is the definition of  time wasting?

If you have a goal and you do not try to achieve it. It is time wasting. A goal is not going to achieve itself, it requires planning. Everyday needs to be planned so that you are working closer towards your goal. The goal could be anything, travelling around the world, earning 1 million, marrying Kam Sau etc..... A person does not have a goal or planning will be pushed around. He will be used as a step stone for other people to reach what they wanted.

People who do not have goals should plan their time searching for one, using strategies such as increasing their life experiences, reading, travelling, talking to people etc searching for what they would like to achieve with their lives should be their first priority. If they don't do this, they are wasting their time.

Therefore, the answer to your question is the definition of time wasting varies among individuals. It depends on your goals in life.

You know what, I feel happy when I can answer your question....haha

Re: Sharing

I bumped into Peta today in the corridor. Peta is a medical student one year above me. We have a lot in common. We were both physiotherapists and we both graduated from University of Sydney. So we talked about our hospital experiences so far. She was telling me how frustrated she is with the hospital system. I agreed with her. Despite the feedback she gave to medical school, nothing has changed. We have to fight so hard to learn something in the ward. At that moment, I just felt, ' Thank god! Someone agrees with me.!' I guess it's like last time when you talked to one of your colleagues from another team and he agreed with you that Simon and Henry are two weirdos, and how you can put up with them without going crazy.

When we find someone who shares the same belief, value and experience with us, we instantly feel happy!

Re: Questions

It felt good, when someone asked you a very hard question that no one expected you to know the answer. but then you answer the question correctly. Not because you studied exceptionally hard but just that you happened to know the answer for some peculiar reasons. When this happens, you just feel happy and want to scream, " Yeah!."
