Today's exam is nerve wrecking. I actually feel sorry for those candidates. They spend so much preparing for the exam, and there is no guarantee that they will pass. I hope that one day when I go to the exam. I will go in confidently and say my examination findings.

My friend saw a Killer Whale off the beach today. How coo is that!!! I bet they must taste good. Just kidding. There must be a lot of food around that area. I want to be see them kill something, a bird, a seal, fish. That will be so cool to watch. I hope you are having a great night with your friends. I finished my report this afternoon. Now I just have to review it. I still have one more report to go after that I will be free of reports and I only have to concentrate on passing this year by intense studying.

Re: Cooking

I want to be a good cook. May be our house can have a big kitchen with many different cooking utensils so that we can cook different kind of dishes. Invite friends and people to come over and have dinner with us. Now for me food is just for survival, hopefully I will get to enjoy them a bit more in the future.

I need help to do my assignments!!! The best way is to get someone to do them for me. May be god (if there is one) will send Jesus Christ to come and help me. My goodness, so many shit due in the next few weeks.

Re: Calm

I think the learning point today is to stay calm all the time and call for help when you need to. Ego can sometimes be hard to get over. But Dr. Denso did well today, he did not lose his calm and called for help when he needed to. Think back getting angry does make things worse most of the time. I hope I can stay calm in most situations.

Good use of humour can always help to soften tense situation, make new friends and leave a good impression. However, it s an art not easy to master. They did a research and actually found that powerful people use humour more. I guess they are in the position to say whatever they want, but people under him can only use humour carefully.

I hate reports. I would rather sit 10 exams other than writing 1 report. I am sorry that I did not update the the blog in the last few days. I was too tired. I hope that you will do well in your report.  I hate reports!!!!

Hungry Jack's is one of the fast food chain stores in Australia. It is famous for it's grilled chicken burger. And it's also my favourite burger fast food chain store. I had dinner there tonight and it was pretty good!

I may apply to be a mentor in the mentor program. If I do apply and they accept me, I will be mentoring international students who just arrived in Australia. Sometimes I look back I can't even believe that I've been in Australia for so long. However, it seems like I 've only explored 10 % of Australia. I may apply this week or I may be able to find something else to make my CV look better. But I think mentoring would be something that I would enjoy doing.

I wish I could have better memory. How cool is that to remember things that you only see or read once. Unfortunately, I don't have that. And the only way to make up for it is to work harder. Even I have perfect memory it's not going to help me looking for work. It seems like I still have a lot to work on.

I have changed my mind set. I used to live in a house. A 4 bedrooms and double storey with front and back yard. My goodness, I spent my weekend just cleaning the place and mowing the lawn. Now it's gone. I was glad at the beginning, trust me, it's a lot of work. I sort of miss it now. It will probably be a good place for us to stay after I graduate.

I am waiting for the market to collapse and the housing prices to slump. If it does happen, please happen after I start working. It will be the best chance to enter the market.

This afternoon I came back from the clinic. I was so tired and had an afternoon nap. This afternoon nap is one of the best nap I've ever had.

After reading this, it reminds me that everything is relative. If everyone around me is short, I become tall. If everyone around is poor, I become rich. So finally I found a way to make myself smarter. If I spend more time with people who are dumber than I am, I will actually look smarter but in reality I haven't changed.

Re: Getting to know people around the ward

Because I spent so much time in the ward, I started to know some of the nurses and felt a bit more accepted. Although I didn't catch the baby this morning, I felt it was a good learning experience.

I love a 30 days challenge. According to researches, it takes people around 30 days to develop a habit. I have decided to take on the 30 days challenge. I will write diary for 30 continuously, and you take a photo for 30 days. Then next month we will start another task for another 30 days.

Re: Learner

Learning something new can be a painful process. A great teacher can make this process easier. However, in the hospital, it is always difficult to find someone who is willing to teach. Students often have to go around and find opportunity to learn by themselves. Learning should not be that hard. When people say that the doctors are incompetent, but did they really contribute to their educations? I am glad tonight's over and I did learn a lot tonight. Thank you to the on duty junior doctor, Patrick. He's going to be a great GP.

Re: Watching Childbirth

After waiting for 24 hrs, finally I saw my first natural birth. It was amazing! This picture is a bit awkward but it 's amaziing how much a baby can go through. Babies are so tough. I am quite sure you are a tough baby.

Kam Sau, you are probably the smartest and the most hard working person I've met. I have learned a lot from you. I got these two childbirths is only because of you. I learned not to give up and work till the last minute from you and these skills paid off. I will go back to the ward in the afternoon today and I will hang around during the weekend.

When I see a childbirth, I feel happy.

Patience is the key to success. This placement is really testing my patience. I have been waiting for 3 days for my first birth. I want to get my first birth before the mid-wifery students start their placement next week.

Chloe Chan is really understanding. In my mind, she is the perfect girlfriend. The one who every guy sees as their angels. She is also extremely smart and hard-working. There are so much that I can learn from her.
